Darte is an organisation founded by Andrea Tapparini, with over ten years of experience in art management and production. Over the years we have collaborated with a wide network of international partners, with a particular focus on the European art scene.

Alongside the continental Program that connects artists and institutions in Europe's most iconic cities, Darte is one of the leading national organisations producing art events and exhibitions in Puglia. In recent years it has helped build a stable cultural system in the region, developing exhibition programs, artistic itineraries and heritage projects in dialogue with public institutions, cultural bodies and private partners.
Darte has taken a central role in designing exhibition programs for the city of Lecce, capital of the Baroque. Through a network of shows, cultural routes and diffuse artistic experiences, Darte works on cultural infrastructures able to engage with the growing flow of Italian and international visitors choosing Puglia and Lecce as a cultural destination.
Art for wider publics
Darte promotes social and cultural activities through Gruppo Darte APS, an association founded and led by its President Andrea Tapparini. The association works on the promotion and dissemination of contemporary art, supporting artists, curators and cultural operators through training, outreach, cultural design and administrative support.
Its projects dialogue with important institutions including Polo Biblio-Museale di Puglia, Museo Castromediano di Lecce, Polo museale di San Francesco della Scarpa, MUST Museum and Fondazione Palmieri — with the goal of making art more accessible, participatory and connected to territories.
